7-31-08: "THE DAY THAT NEVER COMES" VIDEO

Metallica spent July 31st, 2008 at an undisclosed location in the California desert shooting the video for the first single from their upcoming album, Death Magnetic. The video for The Day that Never Comes was directed by Danish filmmaker Thomas Vinterburg, (pictured with the band in the fourth picture down).
