In 2008, we wanted to start a new Metallica website that would feature all the latest and greatest news pertaining to the best band in the galaxy. Unveiling Absolute Metallica right before the release of the band's newest album seemed like the right thing to do, and at the right time. Unfortunately, we were felled prematurely by circumstances beyond our control. Let's just say that we were hit by not only pestilance, but time and famine - ie. a complete clusterfuck of situations that derailed the site and it's upkeep. But now that's over. As Metallica tours the hell out of Europe, we're back, reinvigorated and ready to rock!
